The U.S. Ambassador’s Forum is a new leadership and policy series hosted by Ambassador John Tefft and aimed at creating a regular opportunity for the examination of the ideas, trends and forces impacting today’s world. The series brings prominent speakers, innovators and experts from the United States to Kyiv for an exchange of perspectives on issues facing Ukraine, the U.S. and the global community.  The Forum’s selected invitees are leaders in a wide range of fields.  The seventh forum presents:

Edward C. Chow is a senior fellow in the Energy and National Security Program at CSIS and an international energy expert with 30 years of oil industry experience. He has worked in Asia, the Middle East, Africa, South America, Europe, and the former Soviet Union. He has developed policy and business strategy and successfully negotiated complex, multibillion-dollar international business ventures. He specializes in investments in emerging economies and international oil and gas. He has advised U.S. and foreign governments, major international oil companies, and leading multinational corporations.
