Ukrainian artifacts from the collection of Franklin Sciacca, Associate
Professor of Russian Language and Literature at Hamilton College are being
displayed in the Museum of Russian Icons. An exhibition like this only
serves to perpetuate the misconception that Ukrainian and Russian cultures
are one and the same entity.

Have the owner of the collection and the museum's curators learned nothing
about the dissolution of the Russian Empire, the Soviet Union and the
ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine?
